At Whitecaps of Westlake, we are committed to providing a safe, positive, and supportive environment where every athlete can learn, grow, and thrive.
As a member club of USA Swimming, Whitecaps of Westlake fully complies with all USA Swimming Safe Sport policies and adopts the Minor Athlete Abuse Prevention Policy (MAAPP). We believe that excellence in sport begins with a culture of respect, accountability, and athlete well-being.

USA Swimming's Safe Sport Program provides education, policies, and resources designed to prevent abuse and protect athletes.
Minor Athlete Abuse Prevention Policy (MAAPP)
Whitecaps of Westlake fully adopts the USA Swimming Minor Athlete Abuse Prevention Policy (MAAPP).
MAAPP establishes clear expectations regarding:
• One-on-one interactions
• Electronic communications
• Social media
• Locker rooms and changing areas
• Travel
• Meetings
• Individual training sessions
• Athlete safety procedures
